Ben Fertig
Ben Fertig currently serves as President of Constructive Loans. Constructive originates, services, and securitizes single-asset rental loans, and originates and services fix-and-flip loans. Prior to Constructive, Ben ran Credit and Asset Management at Finance of America Commercial; and, before that, he served as Chief Operator Officer of Jordan Capital Finance, where he managed originations, credit policy, and capital markets. Ben was instrumental in the sale of the Jordan Capital Finance platform to Blackstone and Finance of America in 2017.
Alex Offutt
Alex Offutt currently serves as Managing Director of the Wholesale and Correspondent Divisions of Constructive Loans. Prior to Constructive, Alex served as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for loss mitigation servicing oversight for over $20 billion in non-performing residential mortgages. Before Goldman Sachs, Alex was Vice President for Portfolio Strategy at PennyMac Loan Services, where he oversaw their entire $3 billion of non-performing and re-performing whole loans. Alex also has served as Portfolio Manager for a San Francisco-based non-performing residential loan (NPL) fund, and was a co-founder of Fay Financial, LLC.
Tess Siwa
Tess Siwa is Constructive Loans’ Senior Vice President, Operations. Her responsibilities include oversight of Origination Operations and Investor Portfolio management. She brings over 30 years of residential mortgage lending experience, and has served in various leadership capacities in sales, processing, underwriting, closing, post-closing, vendor management, servicing oversight, and asset management. Prior to joining Constructive, Tess worked for Jordan Capital/Finance of America Commercial for five years, PHH Mortgage for three years, and Morgan Stanley Private Bank for 18 years.
Darryl Shelton
Darryl Shelton is Vice President of Lending for Constructive Loans. Darryl manages daily operations and loan production for the inside sales team, while also helping to design and implement processes and coordinate with senior leadership on product development and best practices. Prior to Constructive Loans, Darryl served as a branch manager for Guaranteed Rate, LLC, where he managed daily operations and loan production. Darryl has been in mortgage loan originations leadership for 20 years and started his mortgage career with HSBC. Darryl attended DeVry University and College of DuPage.
